Thanks for using legalcops. These General Terms of Service provided by legalcops consulting private limited and any of our affiliates (collectively, “legalcops”). By using our Services, you agree to be bound by these General Terms as well as our Privacy Policy and term of uses.

(“legalcops”) Privacy Policy update you know our policies and procedures regarding the collection, use and disclosure of information through (“Webite”), and any other websites, features, applications, widgets or online services that are owned or controlled by legalcops.

In addition, you understand that the specific method, features and services offered on legalcops may be altered, improved, removed or adapted at any time by legalcops in its sole discretion and without any notice. If you do not agree with any of these terms, refrain using this Website.

When you use our Services, you will have the opportunity to submit legal questions and obtain advice from outside independent attorneys in the legalcops, also referred to as On Call network attorneys (“External Attorneys”) or, in certain jurisdictions where we are authorized to provide legal advice, legalcops Lawyer (“legalcops Attorneys”).

You may also have an initial consultation or other interaction with an attorney; these initial consultations or interactions are intended to be a starting point for dealing with your legal matter and do not constitute legal advice or create an attorney-client relationship.

We provide you with a forum to interact with advocates who have been appointed to our Expert Panel by us through this website.

You understand and agree that information provided on this website is for informational purpose only, and only the consultations, legal opinions and legal notice issued by our legal experts constitute legal advice.

You understand that we are not an advertising service for advocates, and that the advocate listings on this website do not constitute a referral or endorsement by this website.

We want you to be 100% satisfied with our Services. If you are less than satisfied or believe there has been an error in billing, please contact our Customer Service Department by email at with the subject refund and cancellation immediately so that we can help you resolve the issue, provide a refund or offer credit that can be used for future Services. 

Payment Policy All fee has to be paid upfront before availing any paid service at legalcops.

In case of cancellation or non-confirmation of the appointment/consultation by us due to any reasons, options are available to the user: Either He / She may ask for rescheduling the appointment/consultation with the Lawyer. For rescheduling, a request can be placed within 24 hours of booking otherwise no rescheduling will be done, or He / She may claim a refund of the advance payment.

If the client does not respond after two phone calls (to the number provided by the client) and/ or does not call back and/or denies the requirement for consultation upon being contacted by our panel lawyer, the sales would be deemed final and would not be refundable.

Cancellation Policy In the event of cancellation of any paid consultation for which payment has been successfully made and a confirmation number has been generated, and the consultation has not been concluded due to any avoidable / unavoidable reason(s) we must be notified of the same in writing – by an email at

When contacting us, please include any details relating to the Services you have purchased so that we can ensure you are completely satisfied with your legalcops experience. Unless you have a good reason, we don’t give refunds for services that you’ve already used.

The refund will be processed directly in user’s Bank/Credit Card account that was used to make the payment. 

We also cannot refund any money paid by you directly to third parties, such as payments made by you directly to External Attorneys or professional.

No refund in any case whatsoever can be claimed from us for the amount paid to the Lawyer directly by the user.

Our Customer Service team will contact you within 7 business days and in cases where the Lawyer has not delivered the booked consultation, we will return your money within 15 business days from the day the request for Cancellation was received.

Please note that there will be a nominal deduction (10%) in the amount refunded, payable towards online payment processing. The refund will be processed directly in your Bank / Credit Card account that was used to make the payment.

Refund Policy In the event your request for consultation is accepted but post-payment due to unexpected and extenuating circumstances, your request for consultation is rejected or cancelled; You will be given an option of opting for another request for consultation OR will be offered a complete refund, if you so desire. The refund will be credited to your account within 15 working days.

Please note that there will be a nominal deduction (10%) in the amount refunded, payable towards online payment processing. The refund will be processed directly in your Bank / Credit Card account that was used to make the payment.

We do not offer refunds where you receive access to the Service through our platform, on payments we have collected for services , or on payments to other third parties with a role in processing your order.
